NEW MINDSET ACADEMY
Meditation has been scientifically proven to boost the immune system, lower blood pressure, relieve depression, increase productivity, and promote creative thinking. Mindfulness is an intentional connection with the present moment that changes how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. A dedicated mindfulness practice cultivates compassion, inclining us to treat ourselves and one another with greater kindness.
SO… what the heck is meditation?
In a nutshell, meditation is contemplation and reflection. Clearing any temporary dysfunctional emotions with relaxing and calming emotions and thoughts, will help you greatly in perceiving the situation and responding appropriately.
We would like to share a few videos that have worked well with our staff at New Mindset Academy as well as our clients and friends.
This guided meditation video is seven minutes long. Eric Miller will guide you in the process of getting into a meditative state and then guide you through the meditation.
Are you ready to turn ordinary conversations into an extraordinary event? What you are about to learn is very easy to do and once you’ve mastered the technique, you will forever change your conversations. Eric Miller will guide you through a structured awareness -based meditation that will undermine old, habitual and ineffective ways of communicating and replace them with a more effective strategy that will help to enhance social relationships, reduce misunderstandings and conflicts and generate mutual cooperation and overall consulting performance.
This meditation exercise is designed to alter the tempo and rhythm of speech while you remain in a relaxed state of heightened awareness.
Even if you don’t think you’re good at visualization, your brain is built to envision virtually every thought it has. The more you visualize a spiritual or emotional state, or a specific goal in life, the easier it will be for your brain to bring that intention into your inner and outer reality.
This method can help us dismantle unhelpful mental and emotional habits so that we respond rather than react to circumstances. To be clear, we are not suggesting that New Mindset Academy welcomes or accepts abuse, trauma, or oppression, but rather our feelings around those incidents. We then become empowered to take the necessary action more freely, creatively, and lovingly.
Guided imagery simply refers to the process of using pleasant vision to induce a deep state of relaxation, and it has been proven to be very effective in reducing different forms of pain.
Guided imagery or visualization simply refers to the process of using pleasant visions and memories to induce a deep state of relaxation. Another way of looking a visualization is that you’re changing the narrative or the story that you’re telling yourself.
In this video, New Mindset Academy founder Eric Miller will guide you through a mediation visualization that will help you to uncover what you really want. We have found that this is an effective method in the process of goal setting.
In this guided visualization meditation, Eric Miller will guide you in qualifying “what” it is that you want. Taking the time to question your “why” will give you deeper perspectives into the reasons that you want something. Tapping into your critical thinking skills will help you to chart a course to your true north.
Visualizing what you want to accomplish is a powerful habit that successful executives, leaders and athletes do to achieve their goals.
Leveraging your learning style in a unique visualization will have a greater impact on the effectiveness of the visualization. New Mindset Academy created three visualization samplers to show you the different types of mediation that you can create based on your predominant learning method.
We have also created a FREE course called: Abundance Mindset in 12.2 Minutes, that guides you step by step for creating your very own custom mediation.
